Full construction, from site prep to the MEP systems, crowned by a dome inspired by Turkish art.
Ovenbird is a 9,100-square-foot production bakery with a retail front at 3925 Gough Street in Baltimore's Highlandtown neighborhood. It's now fully up and running and open to the public.
We handled every part of the build, from site preparation to completion: interior and exterior finishes, flooring, wall treatments and ceilings, plus shelving, display cases and countertops. We also oversaw installation of all the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems.
The production floor turns out European-style sourdough breads and pastries. Out front, a large umbrella-like dome inspired by Turkish art nods to the Turkish and Mediterranean flavors in Ovenbird's baking.
