A café built around different ways to hang out: a big shared table, a garage-door bench, a standing bar.
Catalog Coffee is a newly built 2,200-square-foot café at 914 West 36th Street, the stretch of Hampden known as “The Avenue.”
The design creates distinct seating zones across roughly 30 seats: a triangle-shaped communal table by the entrance, a bench beside a roll-up garage door that opens to the street, a European-style standing counter, and two-tops facing custom toile wallpaper. Bright yellow and green accents keep it lively.
A grab-and-go area near the front counter serves people in a hurry, while the rest of the room invites them to stay, making it a real gathering place for the neighborhood.
